Australia Fashion Week woos international buyers
Asia has been identified as an important market for Australian fashion designers as they prepare to showcase their work at Australian Fashion Week (AFW) in Sydney.
The Australian fashion industry’s only event of its kind is now in its 13th year and generates millions of dollars in exports. More than 100 buyers from around the globe have already registered to attend this year’s fashion week including teams from Barneys, Harrods and Hong Kong’s Lane Crawford.
Hollywood actress Mischa Barton has been invited to take the front row seat at the Australian Fashion Week so as to add star value to the show!
