Kit Willow-Podgornik was the most celebrated fashion designer of 2007 Australian Fashion Week but her designs won’t be seen on the ramp gracing the models on the catwalk this year.
Now celebrating five years of her label, she plans to hold an opening party for her first Sydney store later this week. The party will be one step ahead of Fashion Week – which opens on April 28, after a planned collaboration with its organisers fell through.
Kit Willow-Podgornik’s label, Willow, made its New York Fashion Week debut with its autumn-winter collection in February.
